Title: Riding the WAVE:A look at trends shaping and impacting the field of facilitation

Together, we’ll ride the WAVE to spot what’s on the horizon, what’s swelling with momentum, what’s at the crest, and what may be fading away. This engaging trend analysis will help us surface insights about the evolving practice of facilitation and what we need to heed as we advance our work. We’ll not only chart the WAVE, but also reflect on the experience and how this method can be applied in our own contexts.

Rational Aim:

• Explore the groups awareness of current factors impacting the facilitation landscape
• Share ideas of potential actions that may impact our facilitation

Experiential Aim:

• Inspire curiosity about a ToP environmental scanning methods - the Wave
• To feel connected and have fun
• Deepen our awareness of what we are experiencing as facilitators
