Technology of Participation (ToP)® Certification

Technology of Participation (ToP)® Certification is an internationally recognized and respected facilitator certification. Becoming a Certified ToP Facilitator (CTF) is a journey that will deepen your facilitation practice, expand your offerings to clients, and hone your creative and intentional design skills.

What are the steps candidates take toward certification? 

After registration for the CTF program, the journey takes one to two years to complete.  These are the main steps of the program:

  • Exploration – Orientation to Program, Observation of Facilitated Sessions, Taking ToP Courses
  • Intentional Journey – Relationship with Certification Coach, Participation in Community of Practice, Active Facilitation Practice, Taking ToP Courses
  • Portfolio Preparation – Documentation of Facilitations, Client and Mentor Observations
  • Assessment – Examination of Portfolio, Meeting with Assessors
